Nachrüstungsset pH-RegulatorDurch die geologischen Gegebenheiten ist unser gewonnenes Rohwasser von Natur aus „sauer“, d.h. es enthält zu viel aggressives Kohlenstoffdioxid. Um dieses zu beseitigen, muss das Wasser entsäuert werden. Ziel der Entsäuerung ist es, gemäß der Vorgabe der Trinkwasserverordnung ein Trinkwasser mit einem pH-Wert zwischen 6,5 und 7,5 herzustellen. Weiterhin muss sich das Wasser im sogenannten Kalk-Kohlensäure-Gleichgewicht befinden. Dies stellt sicher, dass beim Transport des Wassers zum Verbraucher in den Rohrleitungen kein Kalk ausfällt, aber auch kein freies CO2 vorhanden ist, das die Leitungen angreifen könnte.Nach der Filtration durch die Umkehrosmose befindet sich das Wasser in chemisch reinstem Zustand. Es befindet sich allerdings mit einem pH-Wert von 6 - 6,5 in einem sauren Bereich. Mit dem pH-Regulator kann der pH-Wert des gefilterten Wassers nachträglich in einen neutralen Wert von ungefähr 7 - 7,5 umgewandelt werden. Das geschieht mithilfe des im pH-Regulator eingesetzten Dolomitgesteins, welches das Wasser vor der Entnahme passiert.Das Dolomitgestein im pH-Regulator befindet sich einmal im kalzinierten (gebrannten) und unkalzinierten (nicht gebrannten) Zustand. Retrofit Kit Zero ppm-WaterAmong the substances dissolved in water, hardness is particularly common. Hardness is a term in water chemistry that mainly encompasses calcium and magnesium. When these so-called alkaline earth metals are present in water, they can sometimes precipitate and form limescale, which is occasionally found in water pipes and boilers. Water softening is the removal of such limescale-forming cations (Ca++ and Mg++) and their replacement by sodium ions Na+, which form more soluble salts and therefore do not deposit.With the Zero ppm-Water post-filter, this cation exchange can take place, as the cation exchanger has a higher affinity for calcium and magnesium than for sodium. The result of softening is not the net removal of hardness-forming ions from the water, but their replacement by sodium ions. The total salt content is not changed, only the composition of the salt content.For production, a mixture of high-purity quartz sand and sodium carbonate is melted under CO2 evolution. The melting temperature ranges from 1,350 to 1,480 °C, depending on the ratio of sand to alkali carbonate. The cooled glass is then ground into a powder and used for softening. Water treated with the Zero ppm-Water post-filter is suitable for technical applications only.The duration of use of the module is the responsibility of the user.
